What is Refurbishment?
Refurbishment means reconditioning — taking used units and making them as good as new. We offer this for a wide range of our products.
How It Works: Refurbishment — From Return to Safe Reuse
- The ISP sends in returned units presumed to be fully functional.
- Eye Networks tests and upgrades the units to the latest approved firmware version and configuration.
- Functional units proceed to preparation for reuse.
- Units that are not functional are handled as electronic waste in accordance with regulations.
- Upgraded units are cleaned, optionally equipped with a new power supply, and packaged as agreed.
- In customized packaging for custom unboxing / branding towards the end customer.
- In bulk or simplest packaging for lower cost.
- Reconditioned units are returned to the ISP and are ready for safe reuse at the customer’s home.
